WAMUN
WAMUN is an MUN organized in its entirety by Washington Academy students, with the guidance and experience of our counselors and MUN Directors.
Washington Academy has a great tradition of MUNs, not only hosting our own but also participating (and succeeding) in international competitions. WAMUN has a commitment to being an activity from which every student leaves a better person.

WAMUN 2016 will be the Eleventh Edition of the Washington Academy Model United Nations. It will take place on the 13th, 14th and 15th of February, 2016 at the Washington Academy in Valle Arriba.

WAMUN 2016
Secretary General
This year's Secretary General is SofÃa Jiménez. SofÃa has a long journey with MUN's, starting in 7th grade with JMUN (Junior Model of the United Nations) and winning the award for Best Delegate. Since then, SofÃa has managed to assist to 17 models, including the international model Panama Model United Nations (PANAMUN), and win several awards such as Best Delegate, Best Delegation and Honorable Mention. For WAMUN 2016, she hopes to make it a fulfilling and fun experience for her and for everyone assisting.
