WAMUN XI

     Welcome delegates to the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime Committee on the eleventh edition of WAMUN. The UNODC is located in Vienna, Switzerland and has had recent involvement in situations such as monitoring the decrease in the production of Cocaine plants in Peru in 2014 and the mobilization of young creative minds to fight against the bad treatment between people also in 2014.

 

     We have very interesting and challenging topics to discuss inside the committee this year so I hope you are all as excited as I am about starting debate on February. My name is Alejandro Karduss and I will be the chair of the committee this year. I have participated in WAMUN for the last 5 consecutive years in every position, from admin staff to chair, and I have participated in a couple of MUNs outside of my school. Our Co-chair this year will be Luis Sosa and our secretary Ana Paula Fratini, we are all excited to see you discussing and negotiating during the three days of the conference. Even though you will find a lot of relevant information on this booklet, we strongly encourage you to do your own research; best delegates are always better prepared.
